Papillons are one of several passions I pursue. I enjoy training, showing and do a limited amount of breeding, keeping a fairly small number of dogs in my home.
Our involvement with Papillons started in the late 1980's with my daughter in 4-H as a Jr Handler. Our 4- H leader was Betty Culbreth. Through Betty and Barbara Cecil, I was directed to Dorthea Robinson , who was kind enough to place a male with my daughter, and that was the beginnning of Papillons in our home. My daughter went on to be the number one Jr Handler in PCA for the year of 1990.
My 2 foundation bitches came from Ella Blakeley's Emberglow Papillons in 1993 when she lived in Texas. Today, my daughter and her husband are raising their son born 4-14-00...and I the proud grandmother of 3 grandchildren. While I continue on with the Papillons, my children are making their own families..
